Momentum West Recognizes Clark County Businesses

Momentum West recently recognized some Clark County businesses for their work in 2022.

Momentum West is the regional economic development organization serving ten counties in west central Wisconsin including Barron, Clark, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pierce, Pepin, Polk, Rusk, and St. Croix counties.

Their priorities include marketing and branding West Wisconsin for business and talent attraction, development, and retention, serving as economic development support conduit in West Wisconsin, developing collaborative efforts with regional partners to drive business and talent development and attraction and advocating for regional projects and initiatives.

Some businesses recognized include Holland’s Family Cheese in Thorp as the 2022 Entrepreneurs of the Year; Northside Elevator as the 2022 Top Development Project for their new facility near Stanley; and Lisenby Properties as the 2022 Top Redevelopment Project for their remodel of the old Memorial Medical Center facility into apartments.

Sheila Nyberg, Executive Director of the Clark County Economic Development Corporation and Tourism Bureau said, “Clark County is proud to be a part of this regional effort that takes our message to a larger audience and helps us have a louder voice in the state and beyond. We have so much to showcase in our area and the proof was evident from the awards ceremony.  Our county connections took center stage and received recognition they rightly deserved.  We thank everyone for their commitment to growing Clark County.”
