Humbird Man Enters Plea for Human Trafficking Charges

A Humbird man charged with human trafficking entered a plea in Eau Claire County Court.

Mark Scoville pleaded no contest, and was found guilty of, human trafficking and two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault. Scoville was arrested after a woman he was with, Catherine Ottinger, was arrested and told authorities they were living in a tent between Fairchild and Stanley.

In May of last year, Ottinger was sentenced to three years of probation for trying to sell a child for sex in May of last year.
