Greenwood City Council Approves Remodel for the Library

The Greenwood City Council approved a remodel for the library.
The Council approved up to $40,000 for Library remodel with social service room addition as recommended by the Finance committee. Along with that, they approved the Library remodel with social service room addition floor plan as presented and recommended by the Facilities committee. They also approved $15,000 for the purchase of park ADA equipment for George Scherer Park.
The Council also approved annexing a parcel of land into the City as recommended by the Planning and Zoning committee and approved the recommendation from the Park and Recreation committee to officially name the park located at 102 N Main Street, Peace Memorial Park.
The Council also approved the purchase of the ADA park equipment additions from Boland Recreation as recommended by the Park and Recreation committee and approved the recommendation from the Park and Recreation committee to allow the County Hwy 73 Main Street project to do their curb ramp improvements near the Peace Memorial Park, located at 102 N Main Street, near the Fee Right of Way and Temporary Limited Easement.
Finally, the Council approved a bid for a parcel of land. The sale is for two acres of land in the amount of $1,100.
