-Justina and Jericho are this week's Pets of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Badger Animal Clinic and Courteous Canine in Black River Falls.

Names: Justina and Jericho

Breeds: Pit Bulls

Ages: Justina, 3-Year-Old & Jericho, 2-year-old

This week we have a dynamic duo as the CCHS Pet of the Week!  Justina and Jericho are a mother and son team who came to CCHS from another overcrowded Shelter.  They are Pit Bulls and both have a pretty silvery blue short-haired coat.  Justina is almost 3 years old and weighs 61#. Jericho is almost 2 years old and weighs 74#.  Even though he's bigger than his mom, Jericho is still quite a momma's boy.  He doesn't like to go anywhere without her and worries a lot if they are apart.  Therefore, they do need to be adopted together.  They are very affectionate with people and are just a beautiful pair.  If you have room in your heart and home for these two, now is the time to adopt!

This Friday and Saturday, December 11th and 12th, CCHS is participating in Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters - Holiday Hope adoption program.  Adoption fees for dogs, cats and kittens will be just $25.00 (all puppies are excluded). Adoptions will be done by appointment only.  Applications must be pre-approved and can be submitted through our website:  www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.  Watch our Facebook page for more details!

Our CC Resale store is now open on Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Stop in and find some wonderful deals on great stuff! CCHS continues to be closed to the general public but we are doing adoptions by appointment only for approved applicants. We ask that everyone wear a mask and we thank everybody for their understanding and support!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Justina and Jericho, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Check out our Facebook page for pictures of Justina and Jericho.  Justina is pictured in the story on our website.
