OVERPASS COLLAPSE INJURES LUNDA WORKERS

An overpass collapse near Wausau has left two people injured. 35-year-old Jason Kundinger of Auburndale is listed in critical condition; Mathew Phillip of Kaukauna is list in good condition.

Both work for Lunda Construction of Black River Falls.

Lunda is a subcontractor hired to work on the Highway 29/51 South interchange project in Rib Mountain. Construction workers were removing the Highway 29 overpass using a large backhoe in an area closed to motorists when the bridge collapsed at about noon Monday.
