Local grocery stores have been affected by the e-coli outbreak.Dozens of Wisconsinites have been diagnosed with e-coli poisoning after eating fresh bagged spinach.
The FDA says it?s pinpointed the source of the E.Coli outbreak as being Natural Selection Foods from California. The company has now recalled all of its products.
The affected packages have "Best if Used by Dates" of Aug. 17 through Oct. 1 and sold under many different brand names, like Dole and Premium Fresh.
If consumers have questions, they can contact the company at 800-690-3200.
All of the local grocery stores we?ve contacted, including Bob and Caryl?s and Marty?s in Neillsville, Loyal Foods and Greenwood IGA, pulled their bagged spinach products as soon as this story broke last week.
There have been 109 confirmed cases of E-Coli poisoning around the country ? most coming from Wisconsin.
