Monday, September 18th, 2006 -- 11:03 AM
Voters in Wisconsin Rapids may be asked if they think President Bush should be impeached when they head to the polls in November.Bill Dolan of Wisconsin Rapids and Robert Hoch of Arpin spent about six weeks going door to door to collect 921 signatures ? enough to have the question appear as a non-binding referendum on the ballot.
The Council might vote Tuesday to accept the resolution.
The impeachment question could be among up to 10 referenda put to a vote in Wisconsin Rapids this November. The state of Wisconsin will have two, Wood County will have two, Wisconsin Rapids could have two, and the Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools district might have four.
