2022 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days Executive Committee Announces Scholarship Recipients

The Wisconsin Farm Technology Days Board of Directors and the 2022 Clark County WFTD Executive Committee are pleased to announce the 2022 WFTD Scholarship Program recipients.

Haven Peroshek, a 2022 graduate of Loyal High School was awarded a $2000 scholarship. She is currently a student at UW-Green Bay working towards a degree in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Throughout her high school career, Haven was an active participant and leader in the FFA, Family Career Community Leaders of America, sports and academic programs. During the 2022 WFTDays you may have seen her working at the Grab N Go tents or helping the Food Committee from early morning to late evening every day, the entire week.

Elliot Ackerman, who will be graduating from Owen-Withee High School in May 2023, has been awarded a $1000 scholarship. His plans after graduation include attending the Chippewa Valley Area Technical College to study in the field of Machining.

Elliot is active in Basketball, Baseball, FFA and National Honor Society and works part-time as well. He helped with the WFTD fundraiser held at Munson Bridge Winery and worked at the O-W High School FFA booth (a featured participant) in Innovation Square during 2022 WFTD.

Jacob Kopp, who will graduate from Neillsville High School in 2023, has been awarded a $500 scholarship. He is currently applying to the University of Wisconsin with plans to study Wildlife Ecology.

Jacob has been active in the Football program, FFA, Spanish Club, National Honor Society and is an accomplished Baritone Saxophone player in Band and the Wisconsin FFA Honors Band. He volunteered during the 2022 WFTD event and also helped set up the Farm Tech Fest venue and worked the security detail.

Eligible applicants are (or will be) enrolled in a University of Wisconsin System or Wisconsin Technical College System program with emphasis in an agriculture field of study, reside in a recent WFTD Host County, have at least a 3.0 GPA and participated in recent WFTD events.
