Gas Prices Dipping Statewide: Average Now $3.16

(Robin Colbert, WRN/WIBA) Gas prices have dropped below 3 bucks a gallon in some areas of in Wisconsin.

Motorists who live in Eau Claire area are getting the cheapest gas in the Badger State. Triple A puts the average in Eau Claire on Monday at 2-90 a gallon.  Sheboygan is also under 3 bucks, at 2-94 a gallon.  La Crosse and Appleton are just a couple cents over the 3 dollar mark.

Superior comes in with the highest average price in the state at 3-39 a gallon, followed by Madison at 3 dollars 26 cents.  Statewide, the average is 3-16 a gallon, 40 cents lower than a month ago, but 6 cents higher than this time last year.
