Trixie is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls.

Name: Trixie

Age: 5-months-old

Breed: Mixed

Meet Trixie, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Trixie came to CCHS from another overcrowded Shelter in Texas. She is 5 months old and weighs about 30#. She is a mixed breed, but we definitely think there's some Lab in there. She has a short-haired coat that is black with white trim.

Trixie is a happy girl with a good outlook on life. She did come to us with a previous injury to her back leg. There had been a break in the ankle that had already healed. So Trixie has a crooked leg and a bit of a limp. But it doesn't slow her down at all! This pretty girl is full of energy and fun!

She has lots of love in her heart to share with her new family. If you'd like to add some fun and adventures to your life, Trixie is just the girl you're looking for! Adoption applications can be submitted through our website:  www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We want to remind everybody that adoption fees on all cats and kittens are waived during the month of November! Regular adoption applications and procedures still apply.

Save the Date! Santa and Mrs. Claus are returning to CCHS this year for Pet Pictures with Santa! They will be at the Shelter on December 3rd from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Time & Light Photography will provide the photo services. They are happy to take pictures with all kinds of pets, from cats and dogs to rats and goats! So bring your pets and make some great Holiday memories! More details will be shared on our website soon!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Trixie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
