Local FFA Students to be Recognized at Nationals in October

Nationals for Wisconsin FFA students is coming up in October.

However, several students and organizations have already received recognition before going to nationals. Finalists for National Proficiency Awards include Ethan Meissner of Marshfield for Agricultural Processing.

National Agriscience Fair National Finalists include Joseph Reimer of New Auburn in Division 3 for Environmental Services and Natural Resource Systems, Katie Reimer and Cole Pederson of New Auburn in Division 6 for Environmental Services and Natural Resource Systems, and Allison Moos and Lily Lemmons of New Auburn in Division 2 for Food Products and Processing Systems.

Other National Agriscience Fair National Finalists include Whittney Gotham of New Auburn in Division 1 for Plant Systems, Jordan Berg of Granton in Division 3 for Plant System, Kylee Traaseth and Madison Church of New Auburn in Division 6 for Plant Systems, and Andrew Gotham and Stanley Lang of New Auburn in Division 4 for Power, Structural and Technical Systems.

For National Chapter Awards, Stanley-Boyd and Thorp were named 3-Star Chapters. Granton was named a 2-Star Chapter.
