The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved the county’s participation in a fish and wildlife program.

The Board approves sending in the application to the program, which looks to improve the habitat of fish and wildlife in Clark County. The resolution also states that the county will budget and match funds provided by the state for the program.

The Board also approved the resolution establishing the Clark County Sheriff’s Communication Center as the designated public safety answering point. This is required by state statute.

The Board also approved a resolution transferring funds from the general undesignated funds account to the accounts of office of personnel, circuit courts/register in probate, duplicating machine, and fire suppression in the amounts of $4,772.69, $15,712.25, $992.11, and $588.37 respectively.

The Board also approved a resolution supporting Mosaic Technologies in exploring, analyzing, and assessing bringing broadband to Clark County. The Board felt this was another option to increase broadband capabilities in the county after a potential partnership with Bug Tussel Wireless fell through at last month’s Board of Supervisors meeting.

The Board also approved adding people to the Broadband Committee and a Homelessness Committee. The Board heard the 2021 Annual Reports for Forestry and Parks, Ag and Extension, Social Services, and Law Enforcement and Emergency Management.
