Tomah Man Sentenced for Beating His Child to Death

A Tomah man was sentenced for beating his 3-year-old child to death.

According to the Tomah Police Department, on May 3rd of 2019, they received a report of a medical emergency at a home on Jodi Circle in Tomah. When emergency officials arrived, they began life saving measures on a 3-year-old.

The child was then taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital, but, despite the efforts of health officials, the child passed away. An autopsy was performed and it was determined that the child died of multiple blunt force trauma type injuries.

37-year-old Marcus Anderson was charged with the child’s death and found guilty. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
