Neillsville Fire Department Responds to ATV Accident

The Neillsville Fire Department responded to an ATV accident Sunday morning.

According to Neillsville Fire Chief Matt Meyer, around 10:27am, they received a call of an ATV accident ¾ of a mile west of Batchelor’s Avenue on the ATV Trails.

When they arrived, a Clark County Sheriff’s Deputy had managed to get to the rider of the ATV, took care of the individual, and was bringing the rider out to the road. The Fire Department assisted EMS.

The Department received mutual aid from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, Neillsville Ambulance Service, and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The rider’s injuries were non-life threatening.
