Registered Sex Offender to be Released in Black River Falls

A registered sex offender will be released next Tuesday and living in Black River Falls.

On May 17th, 30-year-old John Hobein will be living at 5 South Roosevelt Avenue in Black River Falls. Back in 2014, Hobein was found guilty of 2nd-degree Sexual assault of a child. He was sentenced to seven years in prison and seven years of probation.

Before that, Hobein was found guilty of 3rd-degree sexual assault. Hobein will be on extended supervision until 2029. He must follow all sex offender registry requirements.
