Program Helping Veteran Owned Farms and Farmers With Disabilities Expanded

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -A popular program that provides services to farmers with disabilities in Wisconsin has been expanded to help up to 100 veteran and socially disadvantaged producers.

Easterseals Wisconsin's FARM Program and AgrAbility of Wisconsin say the expanded services are being made possible through a three-year grant funded by the USDA's 2501 Program. In the first year of the grant, the FARM Program's focus has been to identify qualifying farmers and connect them with resources and the possibility of USDA funding.
