In celebration of Credit Union Youth Month, art students from local elementary schools helped decorate teller cash envelopes that will be distributed at MMCCU in Marshfield starting Friday, May 6.

Students from Grant Elementary, Spencer Elementary, Auburndale Elementary, Immanuel Lutheran Schools, Trinity Lutheran School, and St John the Baptist Primary School participated.

Each of these schools will receive a custom art kit donated by MMCCU in partnership with Marshfield Book & Stationery. During CU Youth Month, MMCCU supplied art classes with blank teller envelopes.

The students decorated these envelopes and also filled out a worksheet fitting this year's theme of "Save Small, Dream Big." Throughout the month, MMCCU will also be sharing some of the youth drawings on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MarshfieldMedicalCenterCreditUnion.

MMCCU is independent and not affiliated with any specific medical facility. Membership is composed of people that work in medical-related fields, and their families.

This means anyone from doctors to chiropractors to veterinary technicians, and much more are part of this exclusive membership group. If you get a paycheck from a medical-related business, chances are good you qualify, even if you don’t specifically do a medical job, such as custodian or receptionist.

Learn more at www.mmccu.com/membership. MMCCU would like to extend a special thank-you to Marshfield Book and Stationery and local teachers for their support of this project! To learn more about opportunities for youth, please visit www.MMCCU.com/kids.
