Autopsy Reveals More Details in the Murder of Chippewa Falls Girl

(Bob Hague, WRN) Autopsy results reveal details in the murder of a ten-year-old Chippewa Falls girl.
Lily Peters suffered strangulation and blunt force trauma, according to Chippewa County coroner Ron Patten. No other details were released. The 14-year-old suspect is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree sexual assault and first-degree sexual assault of a child under age 13, resulting in great bodily harm.
The 8th grader was arrested on Tuesday. District Attorney Wade Newell said Lily and the juvenile were related, but didn’t give details. The youth is being held on one million dollars cash bond. The next court hearing is set for May 5th.
