Minnesota Man Sentenced for Possession of Firearm in Trempealeau County

A Minnesota man arrested after a traffic stop near Osseo was sentenced in Trempealeau County Court on Tuesday.
According to the Osseo Police Department, back in March of last year, they stopped a vehicle heading down I-94 for a traffic violation. One of the passengers in the vehicle admitted they had small amounts of marijuana.
A search of the vehicle also found drug paraphernalia, 57 grams of cocaine and a loaded firearm reported stolen from Cass County in Minnesota. The driver of the vehicle, Christian Berry of Minnesota, and the two passengers, Bobbie Patton of Minnesota and Michael Sanchez, were all arrested.
Sanchez pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm, convicted of out-of-state felony. Three other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 5 years of probation.
