Marshfield Police Arrest Man After Domestic Disturbance

On Thursday, March 31st, at approximately 8:07 PM, the Marshfield Police Department responded to 301 W. 4th St. Ave after receiving a 911 call for help.
Shortly after, officers received another call that the victim was engaged in a domestic dispute with the possibility of a gun being used. The Marshfield Special Response Team was activated and through negotiations the female was able to exit the residence.
Officers continued to attempt contact with the suspect, a 35-year-old Marshfield man. The man ultimately surrendered and charges of disorderly conduct - domestic abuse, battery – domestic abuse, and two warrants for his arrest. Additional drug related items were also found inside the residence.
