Medford Woman Facing Child Sexual Assault Charges Sentenced in Taylor County Court

A Medford woman was sentenced in Taylor County Court for sexual assault of a child charges.

According to court records, Pamela Schield, a former Medford Alternative High School teacher, admitted to a therapist that she was exchanging messages with a high school student.

She tried to rationalize the interactions by saying the student was going to be 18-years-old soon.  She stated that nude photos were sent, messages were shared, and they had sexual interactions.

During her court appearance on Monday, she was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, threatening computer message. Two other charges were dismissed and another had a deferred judgment as long as she complies with all of her sentencing conditions, which include forfeitures and fines.
