Neillsville School Board Approves Out-of-State Field Trips

The Neillsville School Board approved some out-of-state field trips.

The Board approved the out of state field trip to Mankato, MN, on April 22nd, for the STEM Club as presented. They also approved the out of state field trip to Washington, DC, for the FFA as presented.

The Board also approved the April operational plan and calendar. Building and Grounds Director Mark Spencer and Lance Gregorich with CESA 10 presented a building projects update.

The Board approved the bid from Staley Plumbing & Heating for the bus garage shop heater replacement in the amount of $3,278 as presented and for the pool boiler/heat exchanger replacement in the amount of $24,230 as presented.

The Board also approved the Early College Credit and Start College Now program applications as presented, approved the 3-year auditor contract with Kerber Rose as presented, and approved the transportation contract with Granton Area School District as presented.

The Board also approved student insurance renewal as presented, approved the speech and language contract with Professional Speech Therapists for 2022-2023 as presented, and approved the Memorandum of Understanding with the Orenda Center as presented.

The Board also approved the RVA summer school offerings as presented, approved the RVA Handbook as presented, approved various donations for the choir and band Florida trip from Nasonville Dairy, Lynn Dairy, BP, Marathon, Kwik Trip, and Russells of Neillsville as presented, and approved the hiring of Bryce DeSmet for the assistant golf coaching position as presented.

The Board also heard the Administrators’ Reports. Elementary Principal Marcy Kunze reported on:

  • March mammal madness;
  • College students;
  • Parent-teacher conferences;

Middle School Principal Kory Poeschel reported on:
