Withee Village Board Discusses Food Pantry

The Withee Village Board discussed the food pantry closing.

The Village President said the food pantry is closing in April and the Feed My People group plans to come with a mobile food pantry and set up by the Withee Ball diamond a few times a month.

Several individuals were appointed to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law selection Committee.  They will meet on March 28th at 4 pm at the Village Hall.  They also hired a part-time department of public works employee.

The Police Department came and talked about their recent drug bust in Owen.  They also talked about returning stolen property from a theft at school.  They talked bout the increase in child abuse cases.

The board approved pursuing special legislation to extend TID #1 in 2023.  Open book will be virtually on April 19th and Board of Review will be April 26th from 5 to 7 pm.
