City of Owen to See Higher Sewer Rates

-The City of Owen will be seeing higher sewer rates.

Owen Sewer Utility will be raising sewer volume rates 9% and adding a sewer service charge of $1.20 per 1,000 gallons.

The increase will be starting April 1st to offset increases of 15%-36% in the cost of sewer treatment operating costs being passed down to the City from all of their vendors.
