S.C. Swiderski LLC Proposing New Housing Project in Neillsville

S.C. Swiderski LLC is proposing a new housing project in the City of Neillsville.

Thursday evening, the company met with the City of Neillsville’s Economic Development Commission, Planning Commission, Common Council, and members of the community to discuss the project.

They are proposing approximately 52 apartments, plus storage unit rentals and single-family homes for purchase within the Boon Subdivision Plat. They’re offering numerous floor plans and unique building styles to appeal to many, including townhomes, single-level living, and upper level apartments with vaulted ceilings.

They feel this project will benefit the City in several ways. They said it provides a variety of maintenance-free housing options at a wide range of price points and adds much-needed housing in the area. The project is a private investment in the community which will add a property tax base for the city.

Local subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers will be contracted to work on this project. They will also utilize local suppliers and lenders whenever possible.

The many floor plans, single-family home purchase options, and storage unit rentals is a comprehensive addition to the community, appealing to many. They plan to be an active member of the community for the long term, adding property management jobs on-site and contributing to local charitable organizations and causes through their CAS Committee.

Should everything go according to plan, and the development is approved by the City, they anticipate this project happening in 2024.
