Marshfield Utilities Warn Residents About Scam

Marshfield Utilities is warning residents about a scam making the rounds.

They have received multiple calls from residents reporting that someone impersonating the utility called them about their higher than normal water bill and offering a $50 credit followed by several more monthly credits to be direct deposited before asking for banking information.

This is not an offer from Marshfield Utilities. Please always use caution before giving your personal banking information. They will not ask for that information on the phone.
