Taylor Fire and Rescue Respond to Trailer House Fire

Friday, February 11th, 2022 -- 1:00 PM

Taylor Fire And Rescue were paged at 12:09 am for a reported trailer house fire in the Village of Taylor in Jackson County.

When units arrived on scene, they found heavy smoke and fire coming out the end of the trailer plus the kitchen and ceiling were heavily involved with fire. They requested units from Hixton Fire and Units from Blair-Preston Fire.

Taylor Fire made an aggressive interior attack and contained the fire to the kitchen and part of the living room ceiling. Taylor Fire cleared the scene at 3:30 am. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
