Man Charged in Waukesha Christmas Parade Attack Has High Bail Set in Unrelated Case

(Terry Bell, WRN) The man charged in the Waukesha Christmas parade attack has had his bail set high in an unrelated case.

Darrell Brooks, Junior appeared in court in Milwaukee Wednesday in a felony case of witness intimidation. Prosecutors say he threatened a woman he ran over just days before the parade incident. A judge set his bail at 50-thousand dollars.

That’s on top of the five million-dollar bail Brooks is facing for the parade attack, and the 200 thousand-dollars in bail from another case in Milwaukee. Brooks is looking at life in prison if convicted of killing six people during the Waukesha parade.
