Pecan is this week's Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Courteous Canine in Black River Falls and Creekside Kennels south of Black River Falls.

Name: Pecan

Age: 3.5-Years-Old

Breed: Short-Haired Orange Tabby

Meet Pecan, the CCHS Pet of the Week!  Pecan is a very handsome short-haired Orange Tabby with white trim.  He is about 3 1/2 years old and weighs 12#.  Pecan came to CCHS with his Mama and brothers (Butters, Morris and Poofy).

They had a wonderful family that loved them a lot, but coyotes had moved in to area and they just weren't safe anymore.  So they came to the Shelter to find new homes where they will be kept inside and safe. The cat family is all living in Kitty City at the Shelter and doing well.

Pecan is fun, engaging, playful and content. He enjoys petting and getting lots of attention.  Boy, can he pur!  He deserves a life of leisure on a couch or cat tower, looking out the window to watch the birds.  Adoption applications can be submitted through our website:   www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

February is the month to find your "Purrfect Love" at CCHS!  Adoption fees on cats and kittens will be waived for the whole month!  Regular adoption policies and procedures will still apply.  There are some fabulous and beautiful cats at CCHS all ready to go home.  Stop in and adopt your new furry friends!

Have you checked out the CC Resale store lately?  There's lots and lots of new merchandise to choose from, along with a wonderful selection of decor and gifts.

The store is located at 815 Hewett Street, Neillsville (the old Kwik Trip building) and is open Saturday morning from 9:30 - 11:30.  Stop in and find some great deals!.

You can learn more about, and adopt, Pecan, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
