Jackson County Jailer Facing Sexual Assault Charges

A Jackson County Jailer has been accused of having a sexual relationship with an inmate.

According to court records, Bret Noltner is accused of taking a woman into a cleaning closet out of the view of a camera. The inmate said she wasn’t forced to be intimate, but she felt like she was being taken advantage of.

Noltner denied he had sex with her and stated the inamte initiated the relationship. He’s facing four counts of sexual assault by a corrections officer.
