Legal Group Challenging Another Program that Assigns State Aid Based on Race

(Terry Bell, WRN) A legal group is challenging another program that assigns state aid based on race.

The conservative Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty is asking Governor Evers to strike a provision in his “Wisconsin Help for Homeowners program” which gives more help to non-white families.

Under the program, non-white families can earn about 50-thousand dollars more than white families, and still qualify for housing assistance. WILL’s Rick Esenberg says determining aid based on race is  unconstitutional.
