Man Arrested in Connection With Taylor County Hit and Run Death

A man has been arrested in connection with a hit and run that occurred in Taylor County at the end of October.

On Halloween, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department stated they received a report of a man, later identified as Titus Kottke, lying in the road. After an extensive investigation, authorities arrested 28-year-old Paul Schmeiser of Curtiss.

Authorities have stated that Schmeiser is cooperating with law enforcement and their investigation.
