Curtiss Man Appears in Clark County Court For Child Sexual Assault Charges

A Curtiss man facing charges of sexual assault of a child appeared in Clark County Court.

According to court records, Ty Umback of Curtiss is accused of sexually assaulting young girls. One of the girls stated that Umback told her not to tell anyone or she would be in trouble.

Umback is facing two charges of repeated sexual assault of the same child, two counts of 1st degree child sexual assault, and one charge of intimidating a victim. During his arraignment, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He also requested a substitution of judge.
