October's Federal Order Class III Milk Price

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The USDA announced that the October Federal Order Class III milk price rose to $17.83 per hundredweight.

According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, that was $1.30 higher for the month, but $3.78 below October 2020. So far, the Class III price has averaged $16.86 during 2021. The Class IV component price was 68-cents higher for the month at $17.04, and $3.57 over last year.

Last week, Wisconsin's all milk price for September was announced at $18.30 cwt., which was 90-cents higher than last month's price and 40-cents more than the same period last year.
