Curtiss Man Facing Charges of Child Sexual Assault

A Curtiss man is facing charges of sexual assault of a child.

According to court records, 43-year-Ty Umback of Curtiss is accused of sexually assaulting young girls. One of the girls stated that Umback told her not to tell anyone or she would be in trouble.

Umback is facing charges of repeated sexual assault of the same child, two counts of 1st degree child sexual assault, and one charge of intimidating a victim.

Umback’s bond was set at $50,000 and he’s scheduled to be back in court on October 26th.
