Sherree is this week's Pets of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Badger Animal Clinic and Courteous Canine in Black River Falls.

Name: Sherree

Age: 4-Years-Old

Breed: Terrier/Chihuahua Mix

Sherree is the CCHS Pets of the Week!   Sherree came to CCHS from another overcrowded Shelter with her little puppies.  She was a wonderful momma, and all of her babies have found forever homes.  So now it's Sherree's turn to be adopted!

Sherree is about 4 years and she is a mixed breed girl, probably with Terrier and Chihuahua mixed in.  She weighs 25# and has a short-haired tan coat.  Sherree is just a super nice girl with a very sweet personality. She just wants to be with people and would love to be a lap dog.

She's just a nice size to sleep at the foot of your bed, too!  If you are looking for a great new companion, Sherree is your girl!  Please apply to adopt her today!  Adoption applications can be submitted through our website:  www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Freeday Friday is back!!  On Friday, October 15th, Freeday Friday will be held at our original CC Resale Store.  It's located  at 600 Hewett St, in downtown Neillsville, on the corner opposite the Post Office. This is our “inconvenience store”.

We have lousy parking, terrible hours, not much is organized and we don’t care if you buy anything or not. And yet, people love it. You know why?........cuz it’s all FREE!  That’s right, bring your bags, boxes, cars, trucks or buggies and fill ‘em up. It’s all free!

We call it Freeday Friday and it’s October 15th  from 9:30 to 11:30 only. It’s not that we’re going out of business, it’s just our way of moving out old stuff to make room for more new stuff.  If it goes well, we’ll do it again. If not, we don’t really care, it’s not like we’re making any money from it anyway. See you at 9:30, October 15th!

CCHS is open again!  We have reopened during our regular hours of 12-3 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.  Adoptions are still being done by appointment, but we are again welcoming visitors and volunteers.

Please stop in and see all of the wonderful cats and dogs we have available for adoption!  Welcome back!! Our CC Resale Store at 815 Hewett Street is open on Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

You can learn more about, and adopt, Sherree, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
