Thursday, September 9th, 2021 -- 12:01 PM

A Black River Falls man arrested after attempting to shoot his wife entered a plea in Jackson County Court on Wednesday.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, back in May a woman called 911 and reported that her husband had shot a gun at her while she was leaving their home in the Town of Manchester.  The couple’s child was at the residence when it happened.

During Jonathan Heller’s plea hearing, he pled guilty to one count of first degree recklessly endangering safety, use of a dangerous weapon, domestic abuse, second count of endangering safety/reckless use of a firearm and domestic abuse.

Several other charges were dismissed and read in.  He’s scheduled for sentencing on October 28th.
