Black River Falls Man Charged with Sexual Assault of a Child Appears in Jackson County Court

A Black River Falls man charged with sexual assault appeared in Jackson County Court.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, one girl stated that Edward Nicholas assaulted her.  Another girl stated she witnessed the incident and she was forced perform sexual acts as well.

During Nicholas preliminary hearing, probable cause was found, so his court proceedings will continue.  He entered a not guilty plea to the charge against him. He’s scheduled to be back in court on October 18th.
