Coronavirus Numbers for October 31st

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 220,092 positive cases (an increase of 5,096 over the previous day) and 1,972 deaths, an increase of 24 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 11,145, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 965 positive cases. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 1,865 positive, Eau Claire has seen 3,738 positive, Jackson has seen 564 positive, Wood has seen 1,834 positive, Marathon has seen 5,127 positive and Taylor has seen 523 positive.
Clark County has had 17 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 54 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 21 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 16 people die from the virus; Wood has had 10 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 7 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
