Coronavirus Numbers for October 22nd

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 182,687 positive cases (an increase of 4,205 over the previous day) and 1,681 deaths, an increase of 48 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 9,704, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 716 positive cases. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 1,215 positive, Eau Claire has seen 2,783 positive, Jackson has seen 309 positive, Wood has seen 1,426 positive, Marathon has seen 3,699 positive and Taylor has seen 395 positive.
Clark County has had 13 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 39 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 12 people die from the virus; Wood has had 9 people die from the virus, Taylor and Chippewa has had 7 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
