Coronavirus Numbers for October 21st

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 178,482 positive cases (an increase of 4,591 over the previous day) and 1,663 deaths, an increase of 33 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 9,537, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 687 positive cases. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 1,130 positive, Eau Claire has seen 2,736 positive, Jackson has seen 299 positive, Wood has seen 1,389 positive, Marathon has seen 3,531 positive and Taylor has seen 382 positive.
Clark County has had 12 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 38 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 11 people die from the virus; Wood has had 9 people die from the virus, Taylor and Chippewa have had 6 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
