Clark County Receives Transportation Funding Payments

-Wisconsin communities this week received $129,698,460 in transportation funding payments, the last quarterly payments for 2020.For calendar year 2020, local governments received more than $505 million in general transportation aids financial assistance to support transportation related projects; a 10 percent increase over calendar year 2019 allocations. The fourth quarter payments to Wisconsin’s 1,922 villages, towns, cities, and counties included $126,426,608.49 in General Transportation Aids; $3,015,876.10 in Connecting Highway Aids to 117 eligible municipalities; and $255,975 in Expressway Policing Aids to Milwaukee County. For General Transportation Aid, Clark County will receive $223,485.96, $40,891.68 Town of Beaver, $14,054.63 Town of Butler, $30,708.18 Town of Colby, $26,312.85 Town of Dewhurst, $28,553.51 Town of Eaton, $11,760.30 Town of Foster, Town of Fremont $41,607.81, Town of Grant $41,581.53, Town of Green Grove $31,838.22, Town of Hendren $21,052.10, Town of Hewett $16,583.33, Town of Hixon $30,064.32, Town of Hoard $30,373.42, Town of Levis $31,115.52, Town of Longwood $26,483.67, Town of Loyal $37,041.66, Town of Lynn $32,442.32, Town of Mayville $36,148.14, Town of Mead $28,894.86, and Town of Mentor $27,456.03.
