Withee Village Board Approves Owen-Withee Police Department Agreement

-The Withee Village Board discussed the Owen-Withee Police Department agreement at their meeting on Monday.They approved adopting the agreement and approved the 2021 budget with a third officer at 30 hours/week. They also approved placing a referendum question on the April ballot to consider an increase to fund a third full time officer as opposed to the current 30 hours per week.
They also approved expenditures for the Routes to Recover Grant and spending $1000 of those funds for the COVID related items for the police department. Finally, they approved the CLA audit proposals for up to $14,000 and set the first budget meeting for October 26th at 6pm.
