Coronavirus Numbers for October 15th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,568,389 negative cases, 158,578 positive cases (an increase of 3,107 over the previous day) and 1,536 deaths, an increase of 28 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 8,754, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 589 positive cases and 6,257 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 887 positive and 16,653 negative, Eau Claire has seen 2,471 positive and 26,464 negative and Jackson has seen 225 positive and 6,857 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 1,182 positive and 16,930 negative, Marathon has seen 2,899 positive and 22,887 negative and Taylor has seen 309 positive and 3,302 negative. Clark County has had 9 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 31 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 9 people die from the virus; Wood has had 8 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 6 people die from the virus; and Chippewa and Jackson have had one person die from the virus.
