Rotary Winter Wonderland Set Up Begins

This weekend volunteers started setting up the Rotary Winter Wonderland at the Wildwood Zoo in Marshfield and organizers say the COVID-19 pandemic is bringing some changes to this year's annual event.Danielle Nystrom, who is the Volunteer Coordinator said they will be extending the drive-thru so it will go a little bit longer down 17th street. She said they will have more for you to see from your car but sadly Santa won't be visiting this year and they don't have horse-drawn carriage rides. She also said they worked with the Wood County Health Department and the Marshfield Clinic Health System to make sure that it was a very safe event to move forward.
It’s free to see the lights, but they ask anyone who can to pitch in a few dollars or bring food for the pantries. The Rotary Winter Wonderland is officially on display Nov. 27 through Dec. 31.
