NHS Homecoming Activities Put On Hold

Friday, October 9th, 2020 -- 8:43 AM

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the planned homecoming activities for the week of Oct. 12th at Neillsville High School have been postponed, except for the football game on Friday night, Oct.16th vs Eau Claire Regis.

The district said they were in the planning stages of developing modified activities for high school students to take part in on Oct. 15th, but there was little interest. Plans are now to pause homecoming for now and shift it to the spring of 2021 and see where things stand with COVID-19 and the school at that time.

Neillsville High School principal, Craig Anderson said that if they believe they can have something more traditional for these activities, they will revisit the topic at that time.
