Coronavirus Numbers for October 6th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,472,577 negative cases, 134,359 positive cases (an increase of 1,696 over the previous day) and 1,381 deaths, an increase of 4 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 7,702, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 479 positive cases and 5,891 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 649 positive and 15,501 negative, Eau Claire has seen 2,152 positive and 23,394 negative and Jackson has seen 177 positive and 6,644 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 960 positive and 15,694 negative, Marathon has seen 1,924 positive and 21,558 negative and Taylor has seen 243 positive and 3,058 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 17 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 7 people die from the virus; Wood has had 7 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 4 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
