Even though the controversial comprehensive plan has been moved off the agenda, Tuesday night?s Clark County Board meeting still has plenty to offer.The public hearing on the proposed County Budget will begin at 7:15 p.m. in the Board Room at the courthouse. Last month, the Finance Committee presented a proposed 2006 budget that would increase the property tax levy by $231,000 to $10.97-million. Still, next year?s tax rate would fall from $7.69-per thousand dollars of property this year to $7.50 next year, due to a $65-million increase in property value.
Aside from tackling the budget, the supervisors will also consider about a dozen other resolutions.
