Coronavirus Numbers for October 2nd

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,434,721 negative cases, 125,161 positive cases (an increase of 2,887 over the previous day) and 1,348 deaths, an increase of 21 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 7,409, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 436 positive cases and 5,676 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 595 positive and 15,034 negative, Eau Claire has seen 2,016 positive and 22,604 negative and Jackson has seen 164 positive and 6,517 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 878 positive and 15,194 negative, Marathon has seen 1,633 positive and 21,197 negative and Taylor has seen 206 positive and 2,921 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 15 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 7 people die from the virus; Wood has had 5 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 4 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
