Coronavirus Numbers for October 1st

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,423,247 negative cases, 122,274 positive cases (an increase of 2,319 over the previous day) and 1,327 deaths, an increase of 27 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 7,300, or 6%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 418 positive cases and 5,604 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 585 positive and 14,916 negative, Eau Claire has seen 2,000 positive and 22,608 negative and Jackson has seen 156 positive and 6,473 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 857 positive and 14,957 negative, Marathon has seen 1,547 positive and 21,016 negative and Taylor has seen 202 positive and 2,877 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 15 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Wood has had 5 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 4 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
